Liebe Fans des traditionsreichen Hangflugevents „Flying Circus“! |
Niemand weiß, wie und wann wir aus dieser Jahrhundertkrise, der grausamen Covid-19-Pandemie rauskommen, wie und mit welchen Blessuren wir die Krise überstehen werden. Normalerweise wäre die Eventplanung längst abgeschlossen und das Programm für 2021 fixiert. Aber unter diesen Umständen wandern wir auf wackligen Stegen, will heißen, wir fahren auf Sicht und planen im Detail, wenn die Prognosen es zulassen. Das in diesem Jahr eigentlich hätte stattfindende 25-jährige Jubiläum war im September ein schöner Event, aber die eigentliche Party musste ja ausfallen. Für 2021 hatte ich viel vor! Ob das realisiert werden kann, ist Stand heute fraglich.
Als besonderes Highlight war schon für den eigentlichen Event im Juni 2020 geplant, die Kunstflugstaffel „AeroSPARX“ https://youtu.be/dGFO4GwJtJ8 nach Fiss zu holen. Dazu war eine Sponsorfinanzierung https://www.leetchi.com/c/the-flying-fireworks-aerosparx-first-time-in-tirol geplant, denn die Jungs machen das ja nicht umsonst 😉
Ich habe das allerdings dann nicht beworben, da absehbar war, dass es sowieso nicht realisierbar war.
Ausserdem möchte ich in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Tourismusverband auf dem Schönjöchl ein dauerhaftes „GroundFLARM“ installieren. Der schweizer Modellflugverband ist da schon viel weiter und viele Modellflugplätze der Schweiz sind bereits damit ausgestattet. Auch das ist mit Kosten verbunden, die wir eventuell durch eine kleine Beteiligung aller Fans stemmen können. In der „IG FA Schönjöchl“ https://flying-circus.de/ig-fa-schoenjoechl-die-neue-interessengemeinschaft/ haben sich bereits rund 80 Modellpiloten eingetragen. Rund 2000 Euro wären zu finanzieren, was, so denke ich, machbar ist. Die Montage vor Ort wäre dann vom TVB zu übernehmen.
Die europaweit geltenden neuen Regeln, die ab 1.1.2021 in Kraft treten, bedeuten weitere Schwierigkeiten für einen internationalen Event. Umfangreiche Informationen findet man auf den Seiten der „EMFU“ http://emfu.eu/regulation/implementation. Das heißt, jeder Teilnehmer aus welchem Land auch immer, muss eine Registrierungsnummer vorweisen, die dann europaweite Gültigkeit hat. Wie das die einzelnen Länder beziehungsweise ihre Behörden regeln, muss jeder selbst wissen.
Eine Gewichtsobergrenze von 10 kg scheint beim Hangflug nicht nur in Österreich gesetzt zu sein. Ob diese durch eine besondere Regelung während des Events auf Antrag bei der Austro Control aufgehoben werden kann, wird man sehen. Aber ich befürchte nicht …! Hoffen wir mal auf ein freundliches Entgegenkommen der Behörde.
Wir, das Flying Circus Team diskutieren momentan darüber, ob es unsere Position den Behörden gegenüber deutlich stärken würde, wenn wir aus der „IG FA Schönjöchl“ einen Verein machen. Das österreichische Vereinsrecht macht´s jedenfalls möglich. Dann wäre das Schönjöchl nicht nur ein in der Liste der Austro Control eingetragener Modellflugplatz https://www.austrocontrol.at/jart/prj3/ac/data/uploads/OeAeC_MOD_001-i13_modellflugplaetze.pdf, sondern es wäre dann auch eher möglich, dauerhaft eine erweiterte Aufstiegshöhe genehmigt zu bekommen, was über´s Jahr den Modellflugurlaubern mehr Sicherheit geben würde. OK, das sind Überlegungen, noch kein Plan! Dazu wird natürlich auch der österreichische Aeroclub befragt werden. |

Dear fans of the traditional slope flying event „Flying Circus“! |
Nobody knows how and when we will get out of this crisis of the century, the cruel Covid 19 pandemic, how and with what injuries we will survive the crisis. Normally, the event planning would have been completed long ago and the programme for 2021 fixed. But under these circumstances we are walking on shaky ground, i.e. we are driving on sight and planning in detail when the forecasts allow. The 25th anniversary, which should have taken place this year, was a nice event in September, but the actual party had to be cancelled. I had a lot planned for 2021! Whether that can be realised is questionable as of today.
A special highlight planned for the actual event in June 2020 was to bring the aerobatic team „AeroSPARX“ https://youtu.be/dGFO4GwJtJ8 to Fiss. Sponsor financing was planned for this https://www.leetchi.com/c/the-flying-fireworks-aerosparx-first-time-in-tirol, because the guys don’t do it for free 😉
However, I didn’t advertise it because it was foreseeable that it wouldn’t be feasible anyway.
I would also like to install a permanent „GroundFLARM“ on Schönjöchl in cooperation with the tourism association. The Swiss model airplane association is already much further along in this way and many model airfields in Switzerland are already equipped with it. This is also associated with costs, which we may be able to cover with a small contribution from all fans. Around 80 model pilots have already registered with the „IG FA Schönjöchl“ https://flying-circus.de/ig-fa-schoenjoechl-die-neue-interessengemeinschaft/. Around 2000 Euros would have to be financed, which I think is feasible. The local installation would then have to be taken over by the TVB.
The new European-wide rules, which will come into force on 1.1.2021, mean further difficulties for an international event. Extensive information can be found on the pages of the „EMFU“ http://emfu.eu/regulation/implementation. This means that every participant from any country has to present a registration number, which is then valid throughout Europe. It is up to the individual countries and their authorities to decide how this should be done.
A weight limit of 10 kg seems to be set for hang-gliding not only in Austria. Whether this can be lifted by a special regulation during the event on request to Austro Control remains to be seen. But I fear not …! Let’s hope for a friendly response from the authorities.
We, the Flying Circus Team, are currently discussing whether it would significantly strengthen our position vis-à-vis the authorities if we were to turn the „IG FA Schönjöchl“ into an association. In any case, Austrian association law makes it possible. Then Schönjöchl would not only be a model aerfield registered with Austro Control https://www.austrocontrol.at/jart/prj3/ac/data/uploads/OeAeC_MOD_001-i13_modellflugplaetze.pdf, but it would also be more likely to get permanent permission for an extended ascent altitude, which would give model pilots more security throughout the year. OK, these are considerations, not yet a plan! Of course, the Austrian Aeroclub will also be consulted. |

Der tatsächliche Jubiläumsevent ist schon mal auf den 24. bis 27. Juni 2021 fixiert! Hoffen wir, dass uns das Schicksal wieder hold ist und wir den Event so wie geplant realisieren können. |
